Clinician Language Instruction &
Certification (CLIC) Course

For professionals who want to teach and/or assess medical Spanish skills

A professional development opportunity to gain skills in teaching and/or rating medical Spanish using a validated rubric.

Course time commitment and duration: 30 hours over 6 weeks

Modality: Fully online and mostly asynchronous; 10+ live virtual sessions offer the opportunity to collaborate with peers and course instructors to enhance learning.

Course availability: Spring 2027 CLIC Course dates to be announced.

Costs:

  • $3,500 for Educator Track (required for all CLIC Course participants);

  • +$1,500 for the optional add-on Rater Track (for those who wish to gain and calibrate skills as a POLOM rater).
