What Sets Our Medical Spanish Courses Apart
Built for Safe, High-Quality Language-Concordant Care
Our courses don't just teach medical Spanish—they prepare clinicians to communicate effectively, recognize the limits of their language skills, and provide safe, person-centered care in Spanish.
Evidence-Based & Expert-Designed
Developed by a multidisciplinary team of leaders in medical Spanish education, language acquisition, assessment, and diverse clinical disciplines, our curriculum is grounded in established competencies and validated assessment frameworks while combining rigorous educational design with real-world clinical relevance. Learn more about our team here.
Depth That Drives Competence
Each course provides approximately 40 hours of interactive learning—more than three times the instructional time of many online programs—giving learners the time they need to build meaningful, lasting communication skills.
Learn by Caring for Patients
Practice Spanish through authentic clinical scenarios that mirror real patient encounters. Every activity is designed to strengthen the communication skills clinicians need in everyday practice.
Communication That Respects Every Patient
Develop culturally responsive communication skills while learning to care for the rich diversity of Spanish-speaking patients. Our courses also emphasize the clinical judgment to recognize when partnering with a professional interpreter is the safest choice.
Designed for Every Stage of Training
Our evidence-based and proficiency-driven curriculum supports learners across a wide range of language abilities and can be integrated into undergraduate, graduate, residency, and continuing professional education programs.
Supported Every Step of the Way
Through active learning experiences and optional faculty office hours, our courses help clinicians stay engaged, build confidence responsibly, and continue progressing toward safe language-concordant care.
Continuing Education
We are pleased to offer continuing education credits for physicians, nurses, and pharmacists.
Continuing education is provided through Quality Insights, a jointly accredited provider of interprofessional continuing education for the healthcare team. Eligible participants may earn up to 40 hours of continuing education credit through the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), or the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
Specific credit information and requirements will be provided as part of the course registration and completion process.
